Country Blend is excellent on baked meats as well as grilled.  Country Blend also gives beef, pork, lamb,  moose, veal and any wild game the perfect touch of flavor that makes it so good, you don’t need to use any steak sauce! Over the years we had added Country Blend to almost everything -- our favorite bar-b-que sauce, pastas, soups, salads, baked potatoes, mashed potatoes, sprinkled on french fries, eggs, added to sour cream for a chip dip, sprinkled on popcorn, and added to cream cheese for our bagels.

Below are some recipes using Country Blend. We will continue to add new recipes. Also, please feel free to send us your recipes using Country Blend. Enjoy!

Country Blend Croutons
1/3 c. Country Blend
1/2 c. Melted Butter
1/2 c. Olive Oil
6 – 8 c. Cubed French bread
(any bread will work - firmer breads work better)
Mix melted butter, olive oil and
Country Blend together in a large bowl.
Add cubed bread and mix.
Spread out on a cookie sheet and
broil until golden brown, turn over and
continue broiling the cubes until golden brown on both sides.
These croutons can be added to a salad or crumbled
and added on top of any casserole.

Ribs
These are to die for...
Rub your ribs with Country blend and bake until
done. We like them right out of the oven but, you
can place them on the grill and coat with your favorite
bar-b-que sauce with Country Blend added to it.
Mashed Potatoes
Country Blend to taste
Butter
Sour Cream (optional)
Milk just enough to make the potatoes creamy
Seasoned Nuts
I never measured the ingredients. It's to your taste.
Use pecans, walnuts, or sliced almonds or combine all 3. I use all three (slightly chopped) when I use them on a lettuce salad (3 cups?). For Christmas, I use pecans and I leave them whole and I use more brown sugar to make them sweeter.
Lightly coat a skillet with olive oil,  add brown sugar (3 T.?) and sprinkle on Country Blend. Cook over medium heat until they turn light brown. Spread them on a plate to cool.
